Zero Waste Blue is an approach to carry out studies to eliminate environmental pollution that threatens our marine and aquatic assets and to raise awareness about marine pollution. The Ministry of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change, General Directorate of Environmental Management and Eczacıbaşı Tüketim Ürünleri A.Ş. In cooperation with coastal facility/tourism facility employees, we will raise awareness on the prevention of waste, more efficient use of resources, protection of natural assets, conscious use of depletable resources and the environment, instilling environmentally friendly consumption habits, management and recycling of waste with a zero waste approach, on the basis of creating a more livable environment. It is aimed to provide the necessary training and information and to implement awareness activities in order to raise awareness.

Zero Waste Blue Training Part 1

The "Zero Waste Blue" project is an approach that aims to eliminate environmental pollution that poses a threat to our seas and water resources and to raise social awareness about marine pollution. This project was implemented in cooperation with the General Directorate of Environmental Management of the Ministry of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change and Eczacıbaşı Tüketim Ürünleri A.Ş. The aim is to create a more livable environment by raising awareness among coastal facilities and tourism sector employees. In this regard, in the first part of the training, water pollution sources, plastic pollution, the effects of pollution on human and living health, and sustainable tourism approach were touched upon.

Zero Waste Blue Training Part 2

The "Zero Waste Blue" project includes a series of studies and awareness-raising activities aimed at eliminating environmental pollution that threatens our seas and water resources. This project, jointly carried out by the General Directorate of Environmental Management of the Ministry of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change and Eczacıbaşı Tüketim Ürünleri A.Ş., aims to organize awareness training and information for employees in coastal and tourism facilities. In this regard, in the second part of the training, planning of sustainable tourism management, determination of waste types and amounts, detailing of waste separation models at source, EU and Turkey Policies and international agreements were touched upon.
